In high school, I was a big guy—nearly 300 pounds but muscular. I was on track to play Division 1 football, with recruiters showing serious interest, until a devastating injury my senior year ended those dreams.
Losing my scholarships crushed me, and, I didn’t know how to handle it. I stopped working out, started eating my feelings, and watched my weight climb to 365 pounds. I lost all my muscle and felt stuck in a cycle of bad habits.
One day, I just hit a wall. I was tired of feeling invisible, of being called fat, and of being rejected—not just by others but by myself. I saw a transformation story about someone losing 100 pounds in a year, and something clicked.
The first three months were brutal; I was making changes, but nothing worked.
Instead of giving up, I dove headfirst into research. I learned how to count calories, balance my macros, and optimize my workouts.

My passion for fitness started with my own transformation, and it’s what inspired me to dive deep into the science behind health and performance. I earned my Associate’s Degree in Kinesiology, which gave me a solid understanding of human movement and exercise. From there, I went on to study Exercise Physiology at the university level, really focusing on how the body works and responds to training.
My dedication to learning didn’t stop there. I worked hard to get accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at USC, one of the top programs in the country. Through this, I’ve developed a deep knowledge of rehabilitation, injury prevention, and optimizing physical performance. Along the way, I also earned my personal training certification, giving me the tools to connect theory to real-world results.
This combination of education, personal experience, and passion for helping others means I’m not just here to guide you—I’m here to empower you with the knowledge and tools to transform your life, just like I did mine.
